RESULTS OF MARCH 1, 2008
Wow, another great day at Palo Alto! Twenty five shooters enjoyed spectacular weather and challenging winds on Saturday. It just doesn’t get much better. Gary Henry continued his winning ways as Prone Match Winner, while our friend Whitney Simoneaux again showed that the little 6-BR can win big in F-Class with his second F-Class Match Winner title. Five shooters registered as Marksman this time, which is good to see. We need all the new shooters we can get. Charles Freeman took the class with a nice score of 510-7x, followed closely by Frank Dioguardi’s 508-2x. In the combined Expert/Master class, Rob Westfall showed the way with his score of 586-25x. Bill Jenkins took first in the High Master class with a nice 590-31x. In F-TR class, Duane Landry continued his domination with a good score of 568-13x. In the F-Open class, Zack Young took first Place with his 585-15x, followed by Paul Guy’s 582-16x. This was Zack’s first visit to our range, nice shooting Zack. Whitney Simoneaux’s match winning score was 592-32x, which was 16 X’s higher than the second high x count. Accuracy wins!! Thanks to all the winners who donated prize monies to our State Championship prize fund. Also, thanks to Norman Bennett who donated a nice Sinclair priming tool to the list. The pot continues to grow. See the attached pictures of some of our shooters. Our next match will be Saturday April 5, and don’t forget the Palo Alto Smallbore prone match next Saturday March 8th.
